We are a family who lives and disciples among the lost in our Portsmouth community, Cavalier Manor.

We want to see the transformation of individuals, their families, and networks through organic family belonging and intentional wholistic discipleship.

Our Story

Daron and Precious were married in June 2001. They have been involved in and led youth, outreach, and praise and worship ministries in several churches in Hampton Roads. Daron also started an independent record label, Reformation Records, produced and managed several artists, and used positive rhymes to reach those in the hip hop culture with the Gospel. Both Daron and Precious are educators. Daron taught Physics, Robotics, Cybersecurity, and STEM classes in the Portsmouth Public School System for 22 years. This was a very important ministry avenue for him. Precious taught in the Norfolk and Portsmouth Public School Systems for 5 years. In August 2007, when the couple’s first child was born, Precious started an in-home child care business called Levels of Excellence. As the children grew older, she began to homeschool their children as well as her child care clients.

In 2008, Daron and Precious started a community Bible Study at their home in Cavalier Manor.  It started as an all boys ministry, but soon grew to be co-ed and inclusive of all ages.  In 2010, Daron and Precious expanded their ministry as they partnered with the Navigators, an international ministry whose goal is to make disciples who make disciples. Daron and Precious now serve in the Navigators I:58 Mission which focuses on the Isaiah 58 ministry to those who have been adversely affected by systemic injustice.

In January of 2013, Daron and Precious launched PTownfresh, a unique ministry designed to reach and disciple the lost through relevant teaching and innovative technologies such as online services and Bible studies.  They continue to welcome people into their home for service on Sundays at 12:30 PM. Services can also be streamed live on Facebook and Zoom on Sundays at 12:30 PM and are archived at Youtube.com/PTownfresh and on the PTownfresh Facebook page. 

In December of 2015, Daron completed his course of study at American College of Education and earned the degree of Master of Education in Educational Leadership. He has put his degree to work by designing STEM programs for students and Cybersecurity and Robotics workshops for teachers. In December 2019, Daron earned his Masters of Science in Cybersecurity degree from Norfolk State University. He currently works as an instructor/Instructional designer for the Department of Homeland Security training government IT workers in Cybersecurity. Also, he has founded Moore CyberEd, a training organization which empowers people to begin a career in cybersecurity.

Precious holds a Masters of Science in Early Childhood Education from Old Dominion University. She still homeschools the couples 3 children, now ages 16, 14, & 12. She is also a REALTOR® who serves clients in the Hampton Roads area and is co-leader of The Navigators I:58 Ministry.

Daron and Precious currently live in Portsmouth, VA with their 3 children and spiritual son.
